About GMMT 2026

2nd International Conference on Green Materials and Manufacturing Technology

The 2nd International Conference on Green Materials and Manufacturing Technology (GMMT 2026) will take place from 9 to 11 October 2026 at Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge. This follows the successful inaugural conference held in June 2025 at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. The conference aims to bring together leading researchers, established scientists, early-career researchers, industry experts and policymakers to discuss the latest developments in sustainable materials and innovative manufacturing techniques.

GMMT 2026 will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas focused on the development and application of green materials that significantly reduce environmental impact. The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to, renewable materials, eco-friendly production processes, waste-minimisation strategies and lifecycle assessment of products.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend keynote speeches delivered by prominent figures in the field, engage in technical sessions showcasing cutting-edge research, and take part in workshops designed to promote collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches. The event will facilitate meaningful discussions on the challenges and opportunities associated with transitioning to sustainable manufacturing practices.

We invite researchers, practitioners and stakeholders to submit their original contributions and join us in shaping the future of green materials and manufacturing technologies at GMMT 2026. Your participation will be instrumental in driving innovation and fostering a sustainable future for our planet.
